GLOGSTER...FAIL...but wait, after a month I finally have SUCCESS!!

I made a glogster poster with no problem.  The Glogster site is easy to navigate and allows you to be as creative as you want.  My problem is that I cannot get the glogster to embedd correctly on my blog.  I'm currently trying to get assistance with this.  I have watched every YouTube video, talked with people over Facebook and still, no go. It's very disapointing at the moment.

Then, to my surprize it suddenly worked today, a month after I actually made it. HURRAY! I relieved to say the least.  Enjoy!

DELICIOUS...no I'm not talking about food.

It's delicious.com, a bookmarking site so you can access all your favorites from any laptop, computer, phone, tablet, etc.  It's actually pretty cool!

Mine is https://delicious.com/aubreydesantiag

Yeah, I know, guess they couldn't fit the last letter of my last name in the address. :(   Oh well.

Most of the sites I have on there so far are teaching related.  One new sight that I have begun using that's different is Spotify.  I love music so I'm always looking for new, better ways to listen to all the genres I love.

GOOGLE IS MY LIFE...I use it for everything.  I already have Google Drive and have used it for years, so this assignment was no biggie.  Google also keeps all my phone numbers, email addresses, favorites sites where I can get to them on any device, no matter where I am.  I LOVE GOOGLE!!!

This is a document I made and we use it regularly:

Annalise's Chart

RSS READER...PLN

I'm not sure how much I will actually use this tool.  It was easy to do, I signed up for Freedly.com.  There is definately a need for a PLN (Personal Learning Network) for new teachers and those in rural areas.  It is a forum where ideas can be shared, questions asked, plans critiqued, new ideas can be studied.  one feature that is helpful is that you can mark the feeds you have read and also save them to any device for later use.

Wiki

It took me a while to get used to how wiki is set up and how to get my pages the way I wanted them.  I have the basics done now.  The content is tips and tools for parents and educators of children with ASD.  I also have an 11 year old son on the Autism Spectrum so I find these items extremely helpful.  You can access my wiki now!! Please leave me comments and let me know what you think.

Digital Story

I chose storybird.com to create a digital story.  My daughter helped me choose the photos and we came up with the title together.  It was very easy to use and edit.  There are tons of picture choices for stories.  I think kids would enjoy using the site to write.  My story can be accessed here:

Skater Girls Rule

Media and Communication Tools

Goanimate.com is a very simple site to use to make videos for just about anything.  I made a video about Light It Up Blue For Autism with audio.  It was fun to see all the options for characters and actions I could use.  My video is about 35 seconds long.
